A huge thank you to all those who joined us for the first EoB march and lit candles for a woman killed by domestic violence.
We were overwhelmed by the support for this memorial and the beautiful speeches made by many of the attendees. We hope to see you again next year!
In the meantime checkout our newest project Walk With Purpose and enjoy the images below.

Walk With Purpose!
Working in partnership with Snapping the Stiletto, Time Will Tell Theatre, Claire Driver and Colchester Sixth Form Drama students we launched Walk With Purpose. A women's history walking trail in Colchester town centre, featuring women who stood up to injustice, made a difference, or died for their convictions.
'From Boudica's uprising to Votes for Women and Black Lives Matter, women in our town have stepped up and made a difference. This walking trail highlights some of these stories in the places they happened.
You can start at any point and take as long as you need. If you choose to walk to all 9 stops in one walk it will take approximately one hour to complete.
Use the map to help you locate the Walk With Purpose QR codes displayed in windows, noticeboards and at bus stops which tell the stories of these women. When you find a code, point your phone camera at it until a notification pops up on your screen, then tap the link.
These are just some of the stories, there are so many more to tell...'
A map may be found online here.
